when nate got out of the bus with risk, risk began calling someone and nate stood around the phone station. the girls from the bus walked out and began walking towards them. one of the girls started using the phone next to risk's and began calling someone but suddenly she twirled around and whacked risk in the back of the head. the other girl swung at nate but he pulled out his dagger and blocked with both hands, MAN she was strong. but as soon as he blocked the other girl hit him in the face and he blacked out too.

Risk woke up in a very small space in pitch black. His hands were tied and his mouth duck taped shut. He struggled to try and break free but was unable. He felt like he was moving.....
Nate sat in the back seat of the car, his hands and feet duct taped and secured so he couldn't jump out of the car. "Finally coming around?" The emposia who wasn't driving said looking back at Nate.

nate looked up at the emposia,"no." he replied."who are you and where are you taking us?"

"Don't be like that deary, we aren't going to hurt you" The emposia that was driving said in a soothing voice "We know someone who is dieing to meet you"

Risk started to bang on the trunk trying to get free. He banged up against all the sides but didn't really make and headway.

"yeah." nate replied and leaned close to the emposia,"you." and he draw his head back and headbutt the emposia in the face as hard as he could. he heard a loud crack when he hit,he hoped he broke her nose bone. in the back of the car he could hear a lot of thumping that he assumed was risk.

Both the emposa snarled and the one whos nose was now bent simply straitened it with another crack. "Too bad we're not allowed to hurt you" Mumbled the one who had been head butted.

Risk kicked where he suspected the tail light is from the trunk. It popped out relatively easily. He rotated himself so he could look out of it. He saw that they were on a highway but thats about it.

meanwhile nate was trying to figure out how to escape. he tried to worm his hand through the chair, into the trunk...almost there... yes! his hand was in the trunk. he moved it around to see if he could find risk.

Risk felt some on whack him right on his wound from the hell hounds. He winced but turned towards where it had come from. Nate had apparently stuck his hand through to the trunk some how. Suddenly the car came to a stop. Risk heard doors open and shut and then the trunk opened. The two empusa stood over him. He looked passed them and saw that they had pulled over the side of the road. "We're getting hungry so I guess its time for a snack" They said. Using the light that was now coming into the trunk he started to burn through the duct tape bindings.
The two empusa grabbed him and lifted him out of the trunk. They ripped the tape off of his mouth and said "Any last words roman?"
"Yeah, does anyone else smell burning duct tape?" Risk said. He ripped his hands free and clubbed one of the two empusa in the face. Jumping back when the other Empusa retaliated.

nate was still tied to the seat in the back of the car, flailing around trying to get out. when he saw the empusa take risk out of the back he started freaking out even more until he began beating them up. how did he do that?

Risk grabbed the second empusa and shoved its head into a guard rail. In the moment of there confusion he grabbed the car keys from one of them and ran over to the car. He got in the drivers side and started the car, driving away from the two very angry empusa, there true form now showing.
"You alright kid?" Risk asked looking back in the rear view mirror at Nate tied up with duct tape. Risk realized something, I don't know how to drive....Oh well how hard can it be? He thought.

" yeah i'm alright. can you untie me?" he asked. when risk had untied him, nate said," thanks for...uh... saving me back there... do you know how to drive?". risk was swerving all over the road, forgetting to use his blinkers and generally breaking every driving rule there is.

"No problem, when the gods give you a quest to protect someone its generally a good idea to do it. Especially considering that they asked me" Risk said. He barely avoided hitting another car. "I am pretty sure you know the answer to that, I don't get out much so no. I've never driven a car before"

"well, for starters i think your supposed to drive on the RIGHT side of the road." nate replied. behind them the empusa were gaining, running at incredible speed through(and over) traffic. "never mind, scratch that, just do whatever will get us away from them fastest!"

"I could imagine my father enjoying watching this" Risk said as he swerved to avoid another car. He too saw the empusa gaining on them "Hey kid, do you know how to shoot a bow?"
